Ok, so here's the deal for the morning
1. You pray the Sign of the Cross
2. You offer God your day
This just means that you tell Him everything that's coming up that you know
of, then you say "take all that I think, do, and say and I unite it all with
the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass." So this way your small sacrifices are being
united to His all-powerful and saving sacrifice on Calvary.
3. You read the Bible Passage. Then pause for like a minute or two.
4. Ask yourself 2 Questions:
a. What is the keyword or theme of this passage?
b. What does this have to do with me?
Jeremiah 29: 11-15
'For I know the plans that I have for you,' declares the LORD, 'plans for
welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.
'Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to
you.
'You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.
'I will be found by you,' declares the LORD, 'and I will (I)restore your
fortunes and will gather you from all the nations and from all the places
where I have driven you,' declares the LORD, 'and I will bring you back to
the place from where I sent you into exile.'
At the end of the day, before you go to bed.
Ask yourself 2 Questions:
1. How did God love me today?
2. How did I love God today?

this is my favorite passage in the Bible.
I second that! It's on a magnet at my desk! :D
Last year, though, do you all remember the Virginia Tech shooting? Well, one of the students who was killed was from St. Mary's, so I went to the funeral. At the funeral, they read this passage, and I was a little confused. How can this family who has lost their daughter read this passage and believe it to be true?
I realized that they had perhaps a stronger faith than I could have had in that situation. Even in the midst of that tragedy, they knew that somehow, God had a plan and that it was for the good of their daughter's soul, their family, and all the people in that church who they witnessed to in such a powerful way!
